About Us We are both teachers and have lived and worked in Valencia for the past 5 years. We have 2 grown-up children and like to spend our summers travelling, visiting friends and family.
We have a genuine interest in living as "green" a life as possible. Last year we installed a solar electricity system at our home, sufficient to power most of our appliances (TV lights etc), and we grow vegetables in our "huerta" - veg. patch. We also have a few chickens for eggs and a selection of fruit trees. This year should see our first crop of olives ready for pressing at the local "co-operativa". In the future we hope to be as self sufficient, both for energy and food, as possible.
